When your brain decides to troll you in your sleep.
I noticed recently that whenever I have a nightmare where I’m trying to run away from something, or attack something that’s threatening me, or in general where I’m trying to exert physical strength, when I wake up my muscles feel like they’ve gone to jelly.
Whether it’s my frequent nightmares about swathes of zombies descending on my house, encounters with the Terminator, Alien, or any other sci-fi/horror villain, I either do the smart thing and run (or attempt to run*) in the opposite direction, or I risk punching and lashing out and throwing things at them to keep them away.
Then, when I wake up shortly after these episodes, I feel as though I have no control over my muscles and it becomes a struggle to sit up and a potential hazard to stand up.
So what I’m getting at is, is this just what happens to people when they’ve had a dream where they’re shit-scared and in need of getting away? I’m gonna look into this stuff, but it’d still be nice to discuss it with others and not just have a one-sided conversation with research papers.
*And when I say “attempt to run”, anyone else get that where when you try to run it feels like you’re suddenly attempting to run through peanut-butter? And when you shout out or scream for help, your voice just refuses to come out, and you’re just sat there or stood there with your imaginary vocal chords sapped of energy?
Regardless of whether I get an answer, I think this shit’s interesting and wanted to say so. So there you have it. Goodnight to you all. And sleep well.
Gen one and gen two have always given me the biggest trouble picking a starter. :( I love them all so much!
Is Pluto a planet?
You will soon discover that Pluto’s reclassification was a natural part of the course of history and astronomy.
This is great. (: Informative, to the point, and quite funny!
Goes to show science isn’t some static thing; what you were taught in primary school may well have to be revised at some point later on because there’s so much that hasn’t been discovered or figured out yet.
I was butthurt when I first heard Pluto wasn’t considered a planet anymore,but the more interested in astronomy and science in general I became, the less I cared about what it was called. It’s still THERE. It’s still something to be fascinated by.

guys it’s ok!! pluto has lots of friends. pictured here are five dwarf planets, and in the background are some of the 50-200 more that are thought to be floating around that we haven’t really classified yet.
KH 30 “day” challenge, Part FOUR!
16 – Favorite clothing worn by any character

is some cool stuff.
I loved Roxas’ outfit the minute I saw it. Especially the trousers! It’s a really cool design.
One bit I always have an issue with though, is the way the collar of his shirt ‘flares out’, or however you might put it. To me it makes him like a little ‘flowery’ up top, but other than that, this is my favourite.
It looks so fun to wear, and if I had the money I’d love to cosplay it, just because it looks fun to wear.
Sora’s KHII outfit, and the Organization’s coats are second and third favourites. :)
17 – Favorite intro
Intro … intro as in intro music sequence?
“Passion”. I’m biased towards the Japanese language most times when there’s a choice between it and English, but that’s not why I like this one better. The sound itself feels different in a way I love.
But I also love “Simple and clean (PLANiT b mix). Though this is the first time I’ve heard this longer version of it … -stare-

I’m so sick of pairings and shipping and fanon and admgandmlkamd;a.
…For the most part at least. I’ll probably go and contradict myself shortly after this by faving something MinaKushi on dA.
But I’m not tainting/ruining my KH experience with pairings.
Pairings have, to me, always felt like unnecessary baggage. Cute baggage at times, and sometimes very interesting baggage, but in the end something I can do without.
As far as fanon goes, my KH experience is still a virgin and it is staying that way. xD Thank youuu, goodbye! orz
19 – A picture of a Kingdom Hearts cosplay
I thought this was excellent. It must be hard to pull off such cartoonish, spiky hair without it looking lame, but this struck me as really good. (:
20 – Character you would cosplay as
Sora (KHII), or Roxas, just because I’d love to wear those epic clothes for myself! They look fun to wear, and they’re both sooo stylish.
The hair part would be somewhat tricky though. I can’t be bothered doing my hair, much less a wig.
I COULD however, supply hair for wigs for Sora cosplayers, as I have that much of it on my head right now, and it’s only slightly darker … y’know? Just sayin.
